A roof inspection is worth having before you buy a property, after a storm, when a survey has flagged the roof, or simply when you want to know how many years you realistically have left.
What we check:
- Tile and slate condition, including porosity, delamination and nail fatigue
- Ridge, hip and verge mortar or dry fix condition
- All lead flashings, valleys, aprons and soakers
- Chimney stack, pointing, flaunching and pots
- Fascias, soffits, bargeboards and gutter condition and falls
- Roof space inspection where access allows, looking at timbers, felt, insulation and ventilation
- Evidence of past repairs and how well they were done
You receive photographs of every issue found, a written summary of condition, an honest estimate of remaining life and a fixed price for any recommended work. If the roof is fine, we will tell you it is fine.
