How we work
Every job starts the same way. You call or send the form, we arrange to come and look at the roof, and you get a fixed written price with no obligation attached to it. If you go ahead, we agree a start date, arrange any scaffold, and tell you honestly how long the work will take.
While we are on site we work through the day, we never leave a roof open overnight, and we sweep up and clear waste at the end of every single day rather than only at the end of the job. That last point comes up in nearly every review our customers leave, which tells you how rare it still is.
What we are insured for
C&J Construction & Roofing LTD holds £2 million of public liability insurance and £5 million of employers liability insurance. Certificates are available on request before any work begins, and we would encourage you to ask for them from any contractor you are considering.

How long has C&J Construction & Roofing been trading?
The limited company has been trading for two years, built on over fifteen years of hands on industry experience across roofing, carpentry and property renovation.
Do you work on flat roofs as well as pitched roofs?
Yes. We install GRP fibreglass, EPDM rubber and torch on felt flat roofs on extensions, garages, dormers and porches, and we also convert flat roofs to pitched roofs where the structure allows.
What happens if it rains while my roof is being replaced?
We never leave a roof open overnight. Any area stripped during the day is either covered with new membrane or fully sheeted and weighted before we leave site, so the property stays dry throughout the job.
Do you clear up after the work is finished?
Every day, not just at the end. Waste is removed, the site is swept and the property is left tidy each evening. It is one of the things our customers mention most often in their reviews.
